Membership
Who Joins CSJ? – Counselors for Social Justice members include counselors, activists, leaders, consultants, graduate students, and counselor educators.
One important note – while we welcome ACA members as members of CSJ, you DO NOT have to be a member of ACA to become a member of CSJ. If you wish to join CSJ only, contact ACA here to request a standalone CSJ membership.
What are the benefits of Joining CSJ?
• CSJ Quarterly E-Newsletter
• Journal of Social Action in Counseling and Psychology
• CSJ Day of Action/Day of Learning at the Annual ACA Conference: professional development and action

Hello Dr. Omolaso,
Thank you for your interest in joining CSJ. Individuals can join CSJ, which is an official division of the American Counseling Association (ACA), without having to join the ACA itself. I will forward your information to someone in our membership committee so they can give you more details. Thanks again!

Hello from CSJ,
I am not sure if you received an answer to this question. CSJ membership is managed through the ACA. The best way to become a member is through the ACA website. To join CSJ, you do not have to be a member of the ACA, but they still manage our membership. Please let me know if this answers your questions. Thank you. Robin Landwehr, CJS Communication Officer.

Hello
I sent in all necessary information for CSJ chapter membership back in February and still have yet to hear a response. Any idea who specifically to get in touch with? We’d love to get started as an official member in the fall! Thanks in advance.

Hmm… sorry to hear about that, Faith. I will contact the membership committee. Is your application under your name, or the name of someone else? What school is it under? Thanks!
